Invite Someone To Attend Worship

A GREAT DAY AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH-TUESDAY

Today Parents Day Out began at 8:30 a. m. with plenty of excitement of children and parents.  Ladies’ Prayer Gathering met in the Conference Room at 9:00 a. m.  Tonight at the ROC Upward Basketball teams will be practicing for their big game on Saturday.
On Wednesday night (1/30), Dr. David Hardage will be here to do Bible study for RECHARGE.  It begins at 6:15 p. m. in room 109.  The church family fellowship meal menu is:  chicken fried chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, roll, drink and dessert.  There are many other ministry activities for all ages.  Wednesday
night in Sulphur Springs, you are invited to FBC for a great evening of Bible Study, good food, classes on Christian discipleship, choirs, and great relationships with others.
Please continue to pray for Super Start for Grades four and five.  It will be February 1-2 in Arlington.  Please pray for Brit Fisher and the other chaperones as they work and help these students in Christian discipleship.
Do your want to know more about First Baptist Church?  Starting Point Class for adults and families will be held on Sunday (2/3) beginning at 9:45 a. m.  You are invited to learn about the church’s purpose, ministries, history and ways you can be a part by joining us with this class.  Sign up by January 30 at ssfbc.org or in the church office.  It meets in the Choir Suite.
Next Sunday night (2/3) the church will host “BIG GAME SUNDAY” at the ROC beginning at 5:00 p. m.  There will be plenty of action for all ages.  Join us for a night of fellowship, food, games as we watch the BIG game on the BIG screen.  This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to a special evening of fellowship and good times.  There will be NO evening service on this night because of the ministry event at the ROC.
Most people who attend FBC for the first time come because a friend invited the individual to come and worship.  Your smile and a personal invitation are the greatest way for a new person to attend FBC.  Each person has many relationships and friends in your sphere of influence.  It takes praying for that person and a good invitation for a person to attend worship for the first time.
Have a great day in your neighborhood!   Fred W. Lewis
