Sunday is Coming!

Today the men’s coffee time began at 8:30 a. m. in room 108.  At 3:45 p. m. Brit Fisher and the chaperones will leave for Super Start in Arlington.  Super Start is for fourth and fifth grade where they will experience plenty of great activities of Bible Study, good food, skating, and plenty of fun.  Please pray continue to pray for all of them this weekend.  Tomorrow (2/2) at the ROC Upward Basketball will be in full session with plenty of fun, speed, action, and good spirit.
Sunday (2/3) will be the first Sunday of this new month.  Dr. Preben Vang will be here to preach in the two morning worship services and his message will be: “Youthful Christians in the Church”.  The morning service times are 8:30 a. m. and 11:00 a. m.  Starting Point Class for adults and families will be held on beginning at 9:45 a. m. and meeting in the Choir Suite.  Starting Point is to help new people to learn about the church’s purpose, ministries, history and ways you can be a part of FBC.  Bible Study Life Groups will begin at 9:45 a. m. and this Sunday two different departments from different age groups will meet during the month of February in room 109.  This allows cross generations to meet, study and learn from each other.
On Sunday night (2/3) the church will host “BIG GAME SUNDAY” at the ROC beginning at 5:00 p. m.  There will be plenty of action for all ages.  Join us for a night of fellowship, food, games as we watch the BIG game on the BIG screen.  This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to a special evening of fellowship and good times.  There will be NO evening service on this night because of the ministry event at the ROC.
A SPECIAL NOTICE!  On Wednesday (2/13) at Christus Mother Francis-Sulphur Springs from noon to 1:30 p. m. there will be a “Healthy Heart” lunch and learn.  Dr. V. Ram Aligeti, MD, Cardiologist, will be the main speaker and it is a great opportunity for you and the community to learn about heart health and care.  There will be additional heart help and information provided at this meeting.
Have a great day in your neighborhood!
