A GREAT DAY AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH-TUESDAY
Monday started the week with the staff meeting led by Dr. Vang. The staff is making plans for Palm Sunday and Easter which is right around the corner in April. Last night the Community Bible Study met to study God’s Word.
Today the Widower’s Breakfast was held at Whataburger Restaurant. The restaurant is a busy meeting place for many senior adults. Almost everyone was drinking coffee. At 9:00 a. m. the Parent’s Day Out began with a lot of exciting preschoolers coming to enjoy a day and parents leaving with a smile on their face. At 9:00 a. m. Ladies Praying Together met in the Conference Room for prayer.
Tomorrow night (3/13) RECHARGE will meet at 6:15 p. m. with Dr. David Hardage leading the Bible Study. The church family menu is: soft meat tacos; pinto beans; queso; chips; hot sauce; drink and dessert. The New Life Journey class entitled: “THE REAL GOD” will be held in room 108 beginning at 6:00 p. m. Anyone can join the class.
All summer camps for children, middle school and high school students are taking registration now for the summer. Please get your student signed up for an exciting and wonderful Christian experience.
Someone asked who owns the church. The answer is always God. God purchased the church through His Son’s death and resurrection. The church is made up of human beings purchased by Jesus blood on the cross and resurrection for the forgiveness of sin and being made righteous. No human being can own or buy the church.
