The Worship Ministry of First Baptist is made up of many adults, students, and children of all ages and backgrounds. We are brought together by a common purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, to lead God’s people in authentic worship, and to communicate salvation to the lost and encouragement to believers.
As a Worship Choir and Orchestra member, you have the opportunity to be part of one of our most dynamic ministries in the church. We are seeking people who have a passion for praise to come along beside us as we lead our church family.
Being a part of the Worship Choir & Orchestra will not only change your life, but you will be directly involved in impacting lives for the glory of God. We will lead weekly worship along with special programs (Night of Worship, Easter, Christmas, Patriotic program, guests artists and mission trips).

Choir and Orchestra
The Worship Choir and Orchestra is a community of believers who lead our congregation in worship each week. In addition to serving as worship leaders, the Choir and Orchestra participate in various events throughout the year – such as Nights of Worship, Christmas @ First, Guest Artist weekends, and more… We minister and encourage each other on a weekly basis through rehearsal, fellowship, prayer, and much more. There are a variety of additional opportunities to serve within the Worship Ministry through ensembles, solos, drama, and seasonal ministry positions. It's more than music!

Worship Arts For Kids (WAK)
Ages 3-Kindergarten - Wednesday Nights at 6:00pm
Grades 1-5 - Sundays at 6:00pm
WAK is a high-energy time of learning and worship for children 3 years old - 5th grade. Lifelong worship begins as a child, and we have the perfect place for your child to experience worship arts. We not only sing, but incorporate stix, drama, sign language, and other avenues of creative worship.
Student Choir
Sundays at 4:30pm
Student Choir is for students grades 6–12. If you are a student who wants to be involved in a life-changing and kingdom-impacting ministry that reaches our community, state, nation and world, then check us out!
